These carabiners are a good investment, although i actually prefer to use screw gated ones largely because springs wear out and screws seem to last me longer. They are a good size to rig just about anything, and the wide opening makes rigging much easier , faster and safer. I use them with a figure 8 and for rigging trapeze. They are definitely good value for money, and a good balance between cost, size and weight.
