Everything below assumes you have a suitable and safe rigging point, like a professionally installed rigging point or a reputable and rated freestanding rig. Not every home/studio will be the same, so we cannot advise on this part. If you haven’t established a safe rigging point, please do this first with the help of a structural engineer/experienced rigger/professional familiar with what you're hanging and where you're hanging it.

Unique Performances

Prodigy has designed and tested the bubble at the top to allow for a comfortable grip in the centre of the top bar with two hands, meaning you can straddle comfortably.  You can also perform crowd-pleasing meat-hooks, flags and horizontal splits.

Which size do i need?

Our standard size guide for aerial hoops can also be used for the bubble hoop. If you intend to use this hoop for doubles, you may want to consider going up a size.

Note: All sizes listed are the EXTERNAL diameter of the Hoop. For the internal measurement deduct 5 cm (2 inches) from the external diameter.

The bubble is approx. 20cm across and 8cm from the top of the hoop, giving plenty of space for a two-hand grip.

How to rig a bubble hoop

In order to rig this hoop you will need to choke a Polyester Strop or PolySafe Rope from the centre of the Bubble. If you are using the Bubble Aerial hoop bare (un-taped), you should put tape directly under the Strop/PolySafe Rope to prevent the bar from slipping.

A Prodigy sewn loop sling can also be used for performance purposes if you would like something slightly less visible.

Tech Specs

Made from 1” diameter 10G tubing (25.4mm with 3mm wall). TIG-welded with mild steel filler rod, root and cap welds. The top weld has a solid mild steel insert to back the weld.

Powder-coated with a matte black finish, which looks great, protects the steel from rust, and is easy to wipe clean. Ready to use with or without tape.
